She’s dodged pregnancy rumors for years with the simple fact that she, in fact, was not with child. But with the news she and her husband Justin Bieber are expecting—and kept it a secret for 6 months!—Hailey Bieber’s pregnant photos are proof she’s a master of baby bump disguise.
Hailey shared the happy news on her Instagram on Thursday, May 8, 2024, with a sweet Instagram carousel featuring a pregnancy shoot we believe shot by her husband Justin. Almost immediately, well-wishers and congratulations flooded the comments section. “My heart!!” wrote fellow model Kaia Gerber.
“I probably could have hid it until the end,” she told W Magazine in a cover story in July 2024, but added she “didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good,” she added. “I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
With how they managed to keep her pregnancy a secret for so long, a source told People: “When they found out that Hailey was pregnant, it was just the best day for them. They have both been very emotional about it. They feel so blessed. They’ve also felt very protective of the baby from the moment they found out.”
The source continued that “they shared with family and close friends early on. It was important for them to keep it quiet and just enjoy for as long as possible before they publicly confirmed though. They asked their friends to not share until they were ready to announce.”

Hailey and Justin may have not even known at this point and it’s unlikely she was showing during this outing in LA on December 14, 2023.

Again, this was taken about a month into Hailey’s pregnancy so it’s unlikely she’d be showing at this point, though a light-reflective black dress would be a good way to hide any bump.
January 2024: 2ish months pregnant

Obviously, in a seated position, you can’t see Hailey’s belly, but again, it’s unlikely she was showing anything major just 2 months into her pregnancy.

First-time mothers typically start to show a baby bump between 12 and 18 weeks of pregnancy, so it’s likely Hailey was showing here. Luckily her use of black, draped tailoring was an expert choice in hiding it.

Hailey celebrated a pop-up for her beauty brand, Rhode, in SoHo New York. While some outfits she wore throughout the day clearly show her bump, others show the power of an oversized blazer. Honestly, we can’t believe these photos were taken on the same day.
