Early on in her career, she told WWD that bad rumors about her dating life have put a strain on her. “The most hurtful thing to me is when people try to put assumptions on me and my relationship because that is not OK. Love is something that’s really serious and private that you can’t try to claim or know,” she told the publication.

According to The Messenger, “Gigi was introduced to Bradley through Irina and their mutual friends in the industry,” a source said. “Gigi and Irina have been close over the years while working together, and Gigi and Bradley have hung out before, but it has always been friendly in social settings. Gigi and Bradley were in touch recently, and were bonding over their daughters when Bradley asked her out.”

An insider told People on September 12, 2022, the A-listers were definitely “getting to know each other” but weren’t “dating” yet. Another source told the magazine that “Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi,” while another added, “They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people. It’s only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he’s been hanging out with friends and family.”
However, things certainly ended when a source told Page Six that Gigi wasn’t on board with Leo’s antics. “Gigi’s priority is her daughter,” the source said. “Gigi doesn’t have the energy to run after DiCaprio. His routine is too much for her.”

Hadid and Malik reportedly broke up for good in October 2021 amid claims that Zayn had a physical altercation with Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid. “They are not together right now. They are both good parents though,” a source told People on October 28, 2021. “They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.” News of their breakup came just hours after TMZ first reported that Zayn physically “struck” 57-year-old Yolanda during a recent argument.
The former One Direction member responded to the initial assault claims in a statement to TMZ, denying what he called Yolanda’s “false allegations” against him. “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private,” he said at the time.
