After twenty-two years, the Bachelor franchise is back with another season of The Bachelorette 2024. Unlike previous seasons, The Bachelorette season 21 promises to be legendary with the bachelorette, Jenn Tran, leading the way. Can astrology predict who Jenn may end up with and why?
ABC’s famous reality dating show, The Bachelorette, has captured us time and time again after twenty-one seasons. One lucky bachelorette, typically a former The Bachelor contestant, is chosen to find love. While the odds are in the bachelorette’s favor, it might not be the same for the contestants. Usually, there are about 25 eligible bachelors chosen to be on the show. But not all hope is lost. The contestants still have a chance to impress the bachelorette on solo dates and group dates across the globe. Over six to nine weeks, the bachelorette will go on whirlwind adventures and award highly coveted red roses to find her future husband.
The Bachelorette season 21 follows Jenn Tran, the first Asian American bachelorette. You might recognize Jenn as one of the former contestants pining for Joey Graziadei from The Bachelor season 28. Bachelor Nation immediately fell in love with Jenn on Graziadei’s season. Her bubbly personality and courageous spirit left a lasting impression. Although Jenn was eliminated in the seventh week, she’s back again to find love. Jenn promises a legendary season, already alluding to a shocking ending with a twist nobody is expecting.
The zodiac signs & compatibility of The Bachelorette season 21 cast
Do any contestants have a chance with Jenn, based on their astrological compatibility? Keep reading to find out more about the astrology behind The Bachelorette season 21.
Jenn Tran is a Sagittarius

Jenn’s birthday falls on November 24, making her a Sagittarius, which is a mutable fire sign. Her mutability infers that she’s easygoing and adaptable. As a fire sign, Jenn is going to have a warm, vivacious personality, so it’s no surprise that she’s looking to marry a big personality. Die-hard Bachelor Nation fans probably remember Jenn as outgoing and adventurous on The Bachelor season 28. But if this is your first time tuning in, Jenn’s Sagittarius spirit is already evident. Jenn’s approachability allows for so much, like being cool with Brendan’s hot pepper introduction to the sports car entrance. No matter what the men throw her way, Jenn appraises each interaction with humor and enthusiasm. Her Sagittarius sun is bringing that Jenn-ergy!
Astrological synastry claims that Sagittarius would click with fire signs and air signs. Fire signs—Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius—would have a kismet reaction with Jenn’s sun sign. Jenn may feel at home in a fire sign’s presence. A mutual feeling of understanding and knowing would be imminent. Fire signs can play off each other’s energy, so this could be a fun-filled, passionate dynamic. Meanwhile, the air signs—Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini—would offer an equally harmonious yet unique relationship. Sagittarius may gravitate toward an air sign, because air signs are socially affable and clever. In particular, Sagittarius may fall in love with a zany Aquarius for their unconventional outlook on life, or opposites may attract with Gemini.
Ideally, I’d like to see a Sagittarius like Jenn in a relationship that fosters growth, desires new experiences, and loves to travel. Sagittarius should be with a partner who will always aspire for something bigger and better. Given that Jenn will turn 27 this year, she will also be at the start of her Saturn return. Saturn returns typically occur from 27 to 30, with the hardest year being the 29th year. Saturn returns are a period of maturation. Jenn will have to heavily consider her love life, family, children, and job throughout this period. Since this can be a tough period, Jenn will need a partner who can empathize. I’d like to see her end up with one of the contestants who are either finishing or have completed their Saturn return. Being with someone in the same stage of life will help Jenn find the serious partner she’s looking for.
The Zodiac Signs for The Bachelorette Season 21 Cast

Now that the first two episodes are out, you might have started guessing the contestant’s sun signs based on their behavior and personality traits. Thankfully, it’s fairly easy to find the sun sign, since most of the cast’s birthdays have been logged on the Bachelor Nation Wiki. Just keep in mind that some of the astrological synastry may not become more apparent until more contestants have been eliminated.
The Bachelorette season 21 cast is astrologically diverse. Coming in hot, the earth signs reign supreme with eight contestants. Fire signs follow closely behind with seven contestants. Air signs clock in at five, and water signs make up the smallest pool with just three contestants. A majority earth cast would imply a grounded nature, a high level of maturity, and determination in their personality. But air and fire can still create an undeniable explosion of drama, despite the steadiness of earth energy. Water isn’t as present, so there may not be an overly mushy vibe, unless the final three contestants happen to be mostly water signs.
Ten contestant’s zodiac signs fall under the fixed modality. Fixed energy could make for a wonderful life partner, because fixed signs are loyal to a fault. However, fixed energy can also be notably stubborn. So, this may not work out if there are clashes down the road, be it with Jenn after the final rose or throughout the filming journey. Luckily, there are also nine cardinal signs. Cardinal energy likes to take charge, so this could alleviate the potential for drama. But cardinal signs may see a chance and act on it, like asking for more time with Jenn by stealing her away from other contestants. Since there are only four mutable signs, there might not be a lot of flexibility among the cast.
Of all the zodiac signs, Taurus makes up the majority, followed by Leo and Capricorn. Interestingly, there are actually no Pisces contestants. It’s somewhat odd to not have one zodiac sign when all others are accounted for. The lack of Pisces energy may come across as a lack of overstepping, escapism, and delusion. It could also represent a lack of unconditional love, spirituality, and unconscious connectedness. Nevertheless, Jenn may not even notice, given that Sagittarius and Pisces would typically have a more challenging relationship anyway.
It’s also worth noting that there aren’t any birthdays listed for either Jahaan Ansari or Brendan Barnum. Typically, this would slightly skew our data. But in this case, not having their zodiac signs works, since both contestants have been eliminated by the end of the second week.
Who are the lucky men this season of The Bachelorette, according to astrology? Let’s explore the cast’s sun signs to see what their cosmic personalities are like:
Aries: John Mitchell & Matt Arnold
Photo : ABC.
Aries men are hailed for their tough, masculine energy. Usually, Aries men are incredibly energetic. These men need a partner who can keep up with them physically, mentally, and emotionally. John (April 3) and Matt (April 8) were the two Aries representatives this season, until Matt was eliminated. But John is still in the race to win Jenn’s heart, and knowing an Aries man, he’ll be up for the challenge. There’s nothing an Aries man loves more than a little competition.
Taurus: Jeremy Simon, Marcus Shoberg, Spencer Conley, & Thomas Nguyen
Photo : ABC
Known for being steady and stable, Taurus men are usually known for being predictable. On the one hand, you know what you get with Taurus, since Taurus prefers comfort over spontaneity. On the other hand, this could be kind of boring, especially for a spirited Sagittarius like Jenn. Having four Taurus men is a coin toss, but Jeremy (May 19), Marcus (April 28), Spencer (May 10), and Thomas (May 7) have all continued for another week. Then again, Jeremy did come out saying he has a big *bleep*, so maybe this Taurus is a little spicier than expected. Could Jenn be looking for a level-headed bull as her partner, or better yet, one that overcompensates?
Gemini: Marvin Goodly
Photo : ABC.
As the sign of two faces, Gemini men have dynamic personalities. There are several sides to a Gemini man, making this individual truly unique. Gemini men are typically great at cheeky banter, since they’re known for being witty and intelligent. Marvin (May 21) is the sole Gemini of this season. Yet this Gemini didn’t last long, since he’s been eliminated. Ugh, how disappointing, especially since Jenn thought he was a cutie, too!
Cancer: Hakeem Moulton & Kevin McDevitt
Photo : ABC.
If you’re looking for a family man, then Cancer is your guy. Cancer men are emotional leaders, usually with the home and family in mind. This water sign takes their personal life very seriously, so Cancer would be an excellent hometown date. The two Cancers this season are Hakeem (June 27) and Kevin (July 16). Unfortunately, Bachelor Nation won’t see a Cancerian hometown date, as both men have been eliminated. Too bad, because Hakeem was so ready to pop off.
Leo: Austin Ott, Jonathan Solis, & Sam Nejad
Photo : ABC.
Of all the zodiac signs, Leo men are practically the perfect candidates for something like a reality dating TV show. Leo men are audacious. Their charm, confidence, and assertiveness are breathtaking. Nobody loves harder than a Leo man—except for the self-proclaimed love virgin, Sam (August 10). However, Leos can also be associated with drama, which Jonathon certainly brought with his hospital gown and stretcher performance. Jonathon (August 5) wasn’t the only one showing off the goods, since Austin (August 21) stripped down to streak in a game of truth or dare. Will the Leo men lead with self-assurance and passion, or will they add fuel to the fire? Only time will tell.
Virgo: Caleb “Moze” Smith
Photo : ABC.
Virgo men are notorious for being diligent and detail-oriented. Nothing can escape Virgo’s scrutiny. In love, Virgo men can be an exceptionally attentive partner. This earth sign would pay extra close attention to everything their partner does and doesn’t like. Moze (August 28) is the sole Virgo this season. While I would have loved to see Moze represent Virgo men, his time was cut short after being eliminated in week one. Apparently, Jenn didn’t want to stick around to see if Moze would ghost her, too.
Libra: Brett Harris & Riquerdy “Ricky” Marinez
Photo : ABC.
According to astrology, Libra is one of the best partners to marry. Libra is associated with matrimony, so this air sign knows what it takes to make a lasting marriage. In particular, Brett (October 15) became an immediate fan favorite in Bachelor Nation before the first episode aired. Libra can provide so much in a partnership. Peace, reciprocity, and an eye for beauty—what more could you ask for? Jenn might be asking for a whole lot more, because both Brett and Ricky (September 27) have been eliminated in the first two weeks.
Scorpio: Aaron Erb
Photo : ABC
A mysterious Scorpio lover could be just what Jenn is looking for. Scorpio men are enigmas, so they don’t open up easily or to anyone. It takes a special person to create spiritual, emotional, and sexual intimacy with a Scorpio man. Only one Scorpio man stands out, and it’s Aaron (November 15). He immediately stands out for his “bad boy energy”. His deep emotional energy is already apparent, especially when the first group date went awry in week two. Hopefully, Jenn is ready for this intense Scorpio man.
Sagittarius: Grant Ellis & Dakota Nobles
Photo : ABC.
The free-spirited energy of a Sagittarius man is enough to make anyone fall in love. Sagittarius men don’t shy away from a new adventure, even if it’s something they’ve never done before. If anything, Sagittarius men embrace new terrain, horizons, and experiences with an open mind. Although Dakota (December 19) has been eliminated, Grant (December 15) leads the way in true Sagittarian fashion. This might work in Grant’s favor, since he’s the sole Sagittarius who has a chance to match Jenn’s Sagittarius energy.
Capricorn: Dylan Buckor, Sam McKinney, & Brian Autz
Photo : ABC.
There’s no one more serious than a Capricorn man. Mature and thoughtful, Capricorn men want to build a life with their partner. Capricorn men tend to gravitate toward professionally ambitious partners who desire a family. Becoming a husband and a father is one of Capricorn’s greatest achievements. However, Capricorn men also need a socially mindful partner, since having a great reputation is very important to Capricorn. The three Capricorns—Dylan (January 15), Sam (January 14), and Brian (December 28)—could be strong contenders for Jenn’s heart. Once a Capricorn man has set his eyes on something, he will not stop to achieve his heart’s desires. The same can already be said for Sam, who received the first impression rose.
Aquarius: Devin Strader & Tomas Azzano
Photo : ABC.
Does Jenn want to marry her best friend? If so, an Aquarius man would be the perfect match. Aquarius men are free-thinkers who gravitate toward unconventional opinions and subjects. This air loves being independent and unique, so Aquarius men are truly one of a kind. Aquarius men, like Devin (January 31) and Tomas (January 24), can provide an open-minded, individualized connection, which might be what Jenn needs in love. Plus, Tomas arguably made one of the best first impressions with his adorable puppies. Not to mention, Devin had no issue sticking out like a sore thumb on the group date. Leave it to an Aquarius man to go rogue.
Astrological compatibility for The Bachelorette season 21 cast
Photo : Disney/Ramona Rosales
Who is Jenn most compatible with? Given that there are only two episodes out, it might be initially hard to tell who will win this early on. Instead of predicting Jenn’s future final three, let’s compare her compatibility with the contestants awarded the first few roses of the season.
First Impression Rose: Jenn & Sam McKinney
Photo : Disney/Ricky Middlesworth.
Interestingly, Sagittarius and Capricorn don’t have much in common. These two zodiac signs create a semi-sextile, which is an aspect that denotes that there’s potential. It might be an inherently uncomfortable energy, but it could allow for a chance to work together. Sagittarius will teach Capricorn to live a little, since there’s more to life than working hard. Capricorn will encourage Sagittarius to be mindful of the future and to look before Sagittarius leaps.
The first impression rose can say everything about how a season could go. Sam was awarded the highly desired first impression rose, and the first kiss of the season. It’s apparent why Jenn was drawn to Sam from the get-go. His first impression was funny yet serious, encouraging Jenn to think about all of their future shot o’ clocks. Once Jenn sat down with Sam, they both made his romantic intentions clear. They seem to be on the same page with their relationship goals. Their conversation seemed to have just enough banter to hold the Sagittarius over, while still nailing down dating standards that the Capricorn requires for love.
One-on-One Date Rose: Jenn & Marcus Shoberg
Photo : ABC.
Technically, Sagittarius and Taurus don’t have anything in common. These two zodiac signs create a quincunx, which is an aspect that implies there’s a blind spot. Although Sagittarius and Taurus may not inherently understand one another, there’s a mutual appreciation for each other’s differences. Sagittarius can inspire Taurus to try new things to get out of their comfort zone. Taurus can help Sagittarius slow down to enjoy each moment instead of racing to experience the next best thing.
The first one-on-one date was enthralling, yet heartfelt. Together, they were able to share a riveting diving experience that could help them build trust and excitement in their connection. Marcus’ embraced his next challenge by opening up over dinner. Marcus’ vulnerability helped Jenn feel more connected to him after he shared what happened during his last deployment. Her Sagittarius spirit appreciated hearing about how Marcus’ worldview changed after being injured during deployment. Marcus’ resilience and strength will make him a strong contender not only for this rose, but for future roses.
1st Group Date Rose: Jenn & Grant Ellis
Photo : ABC.
So far, the most compatible pairing is Sagittarius and Sagittarius. These two zodiac signs create a conjunction, meaning they are the same sign. Same-sign synergy is amazing, because there’s nothing quite like being seen by someone who truly understands you. Two Sagittarians can lead to a thrill-seeking relationship. It can also lead to a deep empathy, since both Sagittarians won’t have to hide anything from each other.
Jenn wanted someone to create special moments with her on the first group date. Although the guys matched Jenn’s energy, Grant made his mark without stirring the pot—sorry, Devin and Aaron! Grant stayed close to show Jenn that he could match her adventurous taste by trying kangaroo testicles and other delicacies. Although he stood out in the crowd, it’s apparent that their time alone left a lasting impression. Jenn and Grant talked about their future in a humorous, yet serious manner that only two Sagittarians can do. As Jenn said, Grant makes her feel excited about the future.
2nd Group Date Rose: Jenn & Dylan Buckor
Photo : ABC.
This Sagittarius is loving her Capricorn contenders. The fourth rose goes to another Capricorn. As stated before, this pairing requires compassion and integration for it to work. If Sagittarius is gravitating toward Capricorn, then Sagittarius may deeply long for a responsible, sensible partner. Capricorn’s seriousness and maturity will be enthralling to an otherwise jovial, self-governing Sagittarius. Likewise, Capricorn could need a courageous, daring partner like Sagittarius.
The second group date in the outback was memorable, to say the least. Although all the men were good sports, Dylan helped Jenn confront her fears. His ability to take on a snake captured Jenn’s heart. Leave it to a responsible Capricorn to step up to the plate. They have a deep conversation about what they want in a relationship. Dylan expresses that he wants a marriage like his parent’s marriage. These two share similar values and perspectives on love, which is also akin to Jenn’s connection with the other Capricorn, Sam.
Since only fifteen contestants remain at the end of week two, this is anyone’s game. Jenn has even mentioned that the person she ends up with is not who she was expecting. Will this be someone who she’s astrologically incompatible with, such as an earth or water sign? Or will Jenn end up with someone whose sun sign is aligned with her Sagittarius sun? Given her upcoming Saturn return, it wouldn’t be surprising if Jenn ends up with a Saturnian sign, like Capricorn or Aquarius. Stay tuned to see who makes it to the finale.
